Alcohol Application for Facility Rentals

Thank you for renting an event facility through Grapevine Parks and Recreation. This application is designed to inform our Reservations Staff of your interest in serving alcohol at your event, held at one of the following facilities:

The REC of Grapevine - Stewart Hall ONLY
The Vine Arts & Events Center
Bessie Mitchell House

Please note that completing this survey does not guarantee approval to serve alcohol. Once your survey is submitted, our Reservations Staff will review your request and contact you directly to inform you whether your request has been approved or denied.

If your request is approved, you will be asked to complete an additional form to share your final vendor selections and provide copies of the contracts and invoices for verification.

Please note that this form must be submitted for review at least 30 business days prior to your event date. No exceptions will be made for any reason.

Alcohol is only permitted after-hours, which starts at the following times: The REC of Grapevine at 7 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only; The Vine Arts & Events Center at 4 PM Monday-Sunday; and the Bessie Mitchell House anytime Monday-Sunday.*

Renters are strictly prohibited from bringing in their own beer, wine and liquor. All alcoholic beverages must be provided and served by a licensed catering company or restaurant registered in Tarrant County. Additionally, the bartender serving the alcohol must be certified by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). One (1) certified bartender must be present for every fifty (50) guests.*

Events including alcohol require (1) off-duty police officer from the Grapevine Police Department for every fifty (50) guests. The cost is $65 per officer per hour. The officer(s) must be on-site from the moment the alcohol arrives, until the renters leave the facility at the end of the event. The reservations team will coordinate the arrival of the officer(s). The renter is responsible for paying the officer(s) in cash on the day of the event.*
